Great River Associates has designed numerous structures throughout Missouri. The design of these structures has helped Great River to gain strong experience with many types of building materials and construction methods.
Our staff has designed many structural steel, concrete (pre-cast, cast-in-place, tilt-up), masonry and pre-engineered metal building foundations. In addition to these more common types of building materials, Great River excels in specialty structural engineering. These specialty projects include the use of FRP, roadway signs, entry canopies, underground pre-cast structures, power transfer station structural design and specialty pre-cast design.
In addition to new construction items, Great River specializes in the retrofit and rehabilitation of existing structures. This work ranges from home structural inspections to historic building repair and evaluation. Great River is often called in by insurance companies, along with private owners to conduct failure analysis and code compliance reviews.
