Since our beginning, Bridge Design has been one of the core services offered by Great River Associates. Great River has designed over 200 bridge structures throughout the state of Missouri. Great River’s staff of bridge design and construction professionals brings over 150 years of combined experience to your project. With the vast amount of experience Great River can handle all aspects of Bridge Design and Construction Administration.
Great River offers a wide range of services in regards to bridge design. One service sector we participate in is the MoDOT BEAP program, which allows cities and counties to use our engineering services to evaluate in place deficient structures in order to determine repair or replacement options at no cost.
We offer bridge rehabilitation engineering services, this can be bridge widening like we have done for MoDOT under the “Safe and Sound” bridge program, or can be a historic truss rehabilitation. Our complete bridge design services are custom tailored to each project along with each client. This can range from a small box culvert to 400 foot long concrete bridges.
In addition to different types of bridge design we feel that Great River excels in working with the clients. Each project is designed to best fit the client, which may be a design tailored to fit within the equipment and abilities of the county workforce so the client can build the bridge themselves or may be a design to fit the clients’ budget or maintenance request.
Our services do not stop at the design stage, we offer a full range of construction inspection services. Great River has MoDOT certified inspectors and undergone recent MoDOT audits with “There were no findings”. The goal of Great River’s bridge design services is to make the process of a new bridge as hands on or hands off as you would like.
